Matsuoka sensei, assisted by Kinomoto sensei, directs two seminars per year in Europe. Since 2000, he has been visiting Paris (France) in April. Besides Shinkage ryu iaido, this seminar also features the European Shinkage ryu taikai. Since 2004, he has been visiting Rotterdam (The Netherlands) in October. This seminar also features Shinkage ryu iaido, but the Sunday afternoon traditionally is dedicated to ZenKenRen iaido. The seminars are open to all participants of ikkyu and higher.
